Eat the Rainbow

If you want to stay healthy while you lose weight you need to ‘eat the rainbow’.

This means eating a selection of brightly coloured fruit and veg every day.

Red – raspberries, strawberries, redcurrants

Orange – oranges, mandarins, butternut squash, carrots

Yellow – sweetcorn,  bananas

Green – broccoli, cabbage, spinach, asparagus, green beans, peas

Blue – blueberries

Purple – blackberries, black currants, aubergine

Not only will this help you lose weight it will keep you healthy, keep your immune system healthy, prevent cancer and a whole host of other illnesses.
